Welcome to Blumudus (the “Site”). I understand that privacy online is important to users of my Site.
This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users of the Site (“Visitors”).
“Personally Identifiable Information”
refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, financial profiles, social security number, and credit card information. Personally Identifiable Information does not include information that is collected anonymously (that is, without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual.
What Personally Identifiable Information is collected?
We may collect basic user profile information from all of our Visitors, like the email address and any other information they wish to disclose while posting a comment. This information may be linked to navigation data, including (but not limited to) IP address, browser and device type and location, that is gathered by Google Analytics for statistic gathering purposes.
What organizations are collecting the information?
The information you may provide is stored with our service provider and technical partners.
How does the Site use Personally Identifiable Information?
We use Personally Identifiable Information to customize the Site, to make appropriate service offerings and to prevent anonymity from degrading the quality of commentaries by requesting posters to give a valid email address. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact Visitors in response to specific inquiries, or to provide requested information.
How is Personally Identifiable Information stored?
Personally Identifiable Information collected by Blumudus is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties except when required by the Law, through a formal legal request.
Are Cookies Used on the Site?
How does Blumudus use login information?
Blumudus uses login information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, ISPs, and browser types, to analyze trends, administer the Site, track a user’s movement and use, and gather broad demographic information.
Can a Visitor delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site?
We provide Visitors with a mechanism to delete/deactivate Personally Identifiable Information from the Site’s database by contacting us. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.

This is not a magazine. It’s my personal website: publications are discontinuous. Notwithstanding the fact that I also post commentaries on news and current events, I’m not a reporter.
Comments and content
The comments posted by others on this blog are subject only to occasional moderation: a more strict control is not a feasible option.
Each poster shall assume full responsibility of what he writes here. In particular it is forbidden to insert or link sensitive data, photos/images of minors, illegal content, anything that may result obscene, immoral, contrary to public order and/or potentially damaging anyone, including invading other people’s privacy, or by any means reprehensible. Any questionable content as such, if published on this website isn’t in any way approved or endorsed by Alessandro Grasso. I’m not responsible of said content’s legal good standing, truthfulness and correctness, nor I’m taking any responsibility pertaining any privacy and copyright laws infringement, or any other violations that could be ascribed to the poster.
I’m also not taking any responsibility regarding the content of web sites that are linked on this site: my chooice to link some interesting material, for instance a source for an article, or some content I deemed interesting or useful, doesn’t imply any endorsement of the ideas therein contained. A fortiori I’m not responsible for any violation or reprehensible action committed on those linked web sites.
This is my home. There is no right of representation of your ideas. Democracy has nothing to do with it.
When you post a comment this site automatically records some data identifying your computer and email address. Such data will never be divulged to third parties, under no circumstances, except to the judiciary authorities, when required by the law.
By posting a comment here the user doesn’t acquire any special rights pertaining the publication or removal of it. Posted comments may be republished (in part or completely), given further visibility, embedded in articles and commented thoroughly; they may also be erased with no further retrieval, without prior notice nor obligation to anyone. Whoever desires to save such content for future use should do so before posting it on this web site.
Copyright, images and multimedia content.
This site occasionally republishes with permission pages, texts and images originally appearing on other web sites. This may include an extract or an integral page, plus a new version translated by Alessandro Grasso. In such cases, for any dispute or infringement claim (including copyright violations), please refer to the original source, explicitly linked from this site. I’ll also try to react in a reasonably expedite manner to try and correct the situation, although I’m not taking any responsibility for the disputed material use.
The writings published on this web site are all, unless stated otherwise, © Alessandro Grasso. Any reproduction is forbidden unless explicitly authorized by the author.
On this web site you can find images derived from a variety of sources. Some are covered by a copyright, by Alessandro Grasso or another person or entity that authorized the use here. Others have been released under a Creative Commons license, and they are republished here as such. Others still bear no attribution and have been copied from a source that shared them in the Public Domain, with no usage restriction.
In some circumstances I use widely available photos, depicting for instance a celebrity/circumstance that merits a critique or a satirical comment, or a product to be reviewed, even if protected by copyright, with the understanding that in such cases my good faith use of such material is covered by the Fair Use clause.
IMPORTANT: it’s my firm intention to respect the copyright claims of all authors. If you discover mistakes or involuntary violations on my part, for example a photo image attributed to the wrong source, or an image that had been shared as Public Domain while it was actually copyrighted by a third party, please contact me immediately, I’ll make sure to remove it promptly.
Since this is a personal web site it’s not monitored continuously. I may not always be in condition to read your requests and/or to react quickly.
On this web site we occasionally embed video material served through the Youtube platform. Consult youtube.com policies to know about how to dispute attributions or to request a takedown for copyright infringement, or for any other matter that may concern those videos.
